Dolon Gupta

Co-Founder

Communication Consultant and Coach specializing in Business Communication, Intercultural Management and Soft Skills with experience in academic institutes and corporate houses. She has experience in design and development of curriculum and courses for a multilingual and multi-cultural workforce; transitioning traditional content into e-learning mode; setting up Syllabi, Course Structures, Assessment designs and Faculty training programs.
She now works with start-ups and multinationals. She serves on Governing Committees of professional bodies and on the Board of Studies of Universities. She is actively engaged in writing for publications and journals & speaking at international forums. 

Writing fiction and translating poems are her passions. She believes in living fast and slow - engaging in meaningful projects but also smelling the flowers along the way.

Lalitha Murthy

Co-Founder

Lalitha Murthy wears many hats. She is the co-founder of BCFAI (Business Communication Facilitators association of India.)
She is a consultant and trainer in Business communication and intercultural communication who has worked with various companies since April 2002. As a consultant, she has designed and conducted customized programs for executives at all levels to suit their specific needs. She has also created specific programs for the CSR unit of companies training young graduates in rural areas. She has been a member of IATEFL since 2005, and has presented at various conferences at home and abroad.
Today, she works with underprivileged and rural youth, helping them develop skills for employability. She has recently published her first book, a novel. Her book, Happiness in Change, is a peep into Indian society and its changing norms.

Shweta Paropkari

Co-Founder

Shweta Paropkari is a certTESOL Qualified Teacher and Teacher Trainer with expertise in Business English, IELTS and ESP, a certified Cambridge Presenter, a qualified Emotional Intelligence practitioner and a holder of several awards from Cambridge English, British Council, IATEFL and IATEFL BESIG. Shweta has been working exclusively with Engineering students for the past 11 years. She brings along with her corporate experience, having worked with Deloitte India Private Services, in an international team, prior to becoming a dedicated language trainer. Shweta is currently working with Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology where she runs classes, for both students and faculty, with focus on Business Communication, Language & Cultural Competency training, Workplace Skills for pre-service students, and Teacher Training. As a BCFAI co-founder, her aim is to help build a community that fosters professional development and mutual growth of Business Communication trainers in India.

Ishita Ray

Co-Founder

Ishita is a learning professional of the 21st century. From a research degree in learning methodology to her experience working in the learning chain of academic and corporate organisations, she has navigated a wide range of multilingual and multicultural contexts in India and abroad. 
She has successfully orchestrated end-to-end learning cycles of organization-wide programs and roadmaps in areas of Business and Intercultural Communication, natural language learning, and Design Thinking. From conceptualization to measuring effectiveness, she has contributed to award-winning learning strategy, design and development.

Now an independent learning consultant, she collaborates with corporate and educational institutions across the globe to develop learning resources and curriculum, conduct large-scale train-the-trainer programs, and to publish, and present at international forums. Be it familiar territory or uncharted waters, Ishita can be a trusted ally in areas of education, learning and development.

BCFAI is an association of teachers and trainers with diverse backgrounds. Some are PhD holders who work at universities while some are practitioners in the corporate world. Some are seasoned professionals while some are just starting out. Each member comes with unique strengths and perspectives. BCFAI dips into this rich pool to build and deliver learning programs that have depth, quality and focus.

 

Launched in 2021, the Business Communication Facilitators’ Association of India (BCFAI), is a first-of-its-kind platform for all Business Communication professionals operating in India to share, interact, upskill, connect with peers, stay updated on latest developments in the field, and most importantly, collaborate to contribute to Indian society.
We at BCFAI believe that effective business communication is a key skill  to successfully navigate 21st century workplaces. Our vision is to build and grow this community of educators and professionals working in varied contexts with varying learner needs, united by a core mission to make this skill accessible to every learner in India.
